In the Olmazor district of Tashkent, a waiter rescued a child who had fallen into a canal.
Reportedly, the child was playing football with friends when the ball fell into the canal. While climbing onto a pipe to retrieve it, the child slipped and fell into the water, where the strong current swept him away.
A waiter working at a nearby café witnessed the incident, immediately jumped into the canal, and pulled the child out of the water.
The child is currently in the hospital; he is in good condition and under medical supervision. The Tashkent City Department of Emergency Situations announced plans to honor the waiter for saving the child.
