Fines and penalties issued to officials of Tajikistan due to the occurrence of accidents at enterprises and institutions

In Tajikistan, 5 officials were brought to criminal responsibility for allowing shortcomings in the field of industry and mining.

This was announced by the head of the State Security Service in Industry and Subsoil Use under the Government of Tajikistan Sanat Rakhim during a press conference in Dushanbe.

"Also, administrative penalties were imposed on 7 legal entities, 27 officials and 2 physical investigatory commissions," he said.

Thus, the total amount of fines is more than 182 thousand somoni.

According to him, in the course of technical inspections, inspectors of the service revealed 902 violations of legal norms.

In order to eliminate deficiencies at controlled enterprises, 117 documents were submitted, as well as 7 rulings on suspension of work.

"During the reporting period, 166 legal entities, officials and individuals of registered enterprises were brought to administrative responsibility and fined 890,000 somoni," the head of the service added.

Statistics of accidents in the mining industry in Tajikistan

Meanwhile, the institution has issued 83 licenses for various activities, 56 certificates for the purchase of explosives, 30 certificates for the use of explosives warehouses, 84 permits for blasting.

It is reported that during the reporting period, 2.8 thousand enterprises and 12 thousand structures were registered in the service.

At the same time, 117 technical inspections were carried out, 17 of them were unscheduled.
