In Search of Happiness: Emilia Clarke and Josh Brolin to Star in New Series

Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke and actor Josh Brolin are set to appear in the documentary series A Roadmap to Happiness, Deadline reports.

Hosted by Derin Olyen, the series follows the presenter as he travels to different countries alongside famous actors in search of the happiest people in the world. The project explores how different cultures define happiness and what contributes to people's satisfaction with life.

Emilia Clarke will appear in the episode dedicated to Portugal, while Josh Brolin will feature in the final episode focusing on Finland, a country that consistently ranks among the happiest in the world.

According to Brolin, his trip to Finland reminded him that happiness often comes not from major achievements, but from human connection, simplicity, and appreciating the present moment.

The series will also feature Jason Momoa, Shailene Woodley, Elijah Wood, and Alec Baldwin. It is directed by Kerry Floyd.

A Roadmap to Happiness was announced at this year's Sundance Film Festival. The series is scheduled to premiere on streaming platforms on March 20, 2027 — International Day of Happiness.
