Deputy Anton Tkachyov approached the Ministry of Health and proposed to force doctors to print prescriptions on a computer. The reason is that the handwriting of doctors is in most cases unreadable. It turns out that this is a problem not only for patients, but also for those in the pharmacy.
Tkachyov said that especially elderly patients have difficulty understanding medical documents, and this leads to delays in obtaining drugs, even cases of improper treatment.
Therefore, he proposed to make it mandatory to release recipes only on a computer or switch to electronic form. So far, the Ministry of Health has not officially reacted to this initiative.
