In Russia, an Uzbek worker died after falling from the 7th floor into an elevator shaft

In St. Petersburg, Russia, an Uzbek man died as a result of a fall on an elevator shaft. 

According to preliminary data, the 32-year-old deceased was a citizen of Uzbekistan, who fell into an elevator shaft from the top floor of a 7-storey building located at stachek shokhouse, 59, Kirov district. Construction on this building was under commission from the capital repair fund, with the plan requiring work to be completed the following week.

Employees of the Investigative Committee are working at the scene. The prosecutor's office began to investigate whether the legislation on labor protection was complied with or not.

In late December 2022, a 25-year-old Uzbek builder was killed in the Vsevolozhsk District of the Leningrad region after falling from a height. Also on December 12, an Uzbek worker was killed in St. Petersburg after falling from the 7th floor. The deceased was 45 years old and was killed on the scene due to bodily injuries he received. A criminal case was filed on the case. Currently, investigative actions are being carried out, all cases of the incident are being studied.
