In Namangan, both a man who harassed a girl and the girl who was harassed were punished
In Namangan, a 66-year-old man sexually harassed an 18-year-old girl on a city bus. The incident took place on July 27.
According to court documents, the man touched the girl’s thigh and sexually harassed her. The girl then hit the man, causing him minor bodily injuries.
The court found both parties guilty of administrative offenses. The girl was fined 206,000 soums for causing minor bodily harm, while the man was fined 824,000 soums for sexual harassment.
