It is emphasized that this provides an additional inflow of investments in the field of subsoil use. The government is working to review contracts and licenses of subsoil users who have violated their terms," the press service noted. In particular, according to the results of the analysis, the authorized bodies terminated 118 contracts (from the beginning of 2023 - 19 contracts) and 245 licenses for solid minerals (TPI) (from the beginning of 2023 - 42 licenses), as well as 27 contracts for hydrocarbon raw materials (from the beginning of 2023 - 15 licenses). Also, according to the results of auctions held in 2023, a subscription bonus in the amount of 1.5 billion tenge has already been paid to the country's budget. At the same time, new investments in exploration for hydrocarbon raw materials will amount to more than 15.7 billion tenge. At the same time, the authorized bodies are working on the application of penalties to subsoil users who have violated financial obligations. A penalty in the amount of 934 million tenge was collected from the state revenue under the TPI (from the beginning of 2023 - 603 million tenge), and the debt for 1.94 billion tenge was repaid under 9 contracts in the field of hydrocarbons," the press service added. Earlier, 44 thousand hectares of land were returned to state ownership in the Almaty region.
