A conflict that occurred in a supermarket in Almaty, Kazakhstan, has caused widespread controversy.
A video circulating on social networks shows a customer dissatisfied with the queues at the checkout and demanding that the store employee answer her in Russian. The administrator explained in Kazakh that an additional cashier would arrive soon.
The police, which investigated the incident, submitted the materials to the court. According to the court decision, the woman who started the quarrel was fined 20 MRP, which is approximately 84 thousand tenge (about 2 million soums).
