In India, residents tied a technician to a communication tower because the 5G network was not working.
Residents of Hardauli village in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh had been frustrated with 5G network disruptions for two years.
When a telecommunications company technician arrived in the village to address the issue, residents surrounded him and tied him to a communication tower. They stated they would not release him until company management arrived to resolve the connectivity problem.
The technician was freed after the police arrived at the scene. Six people were arrested in connection with the incident and were subsequently released on bail.
