In India, local residents earn money by carrying wealthy people to a mountain summit on their shoulders

According to reports, low-income local residents carry pilgrims in palanquins on their shoulders, climbing more than 10,000 steps to the top of the mountain. For many locals, this work is one of their main sources of income.
