The diplomat lost his wallet in the parking lot on August 6, the Croatian Ambassador to the Republic of Kazakhstan Refik Shabanovic addressed the police station. He reported that he had lost the wallet containing the money. The diplomat lives in one of the high-rise buildings of the capital, reports Polisia.kz . According to the ambassador, at night, after parking the car in the parking lot, he got out of the car with two bags and a purse, which he held under his arm. He did not immediately notice that he had dropped his wallet. Having discovered the loss in the morning, Refik Shabanovich went down to the parking lot and tried to find his wallet. He found a wallet, but there was no money in it. After viewing the video from the surveillance cameras, the police found out that the diplomat's wallet was found by his 52-year-old neighbor. Having pulled out the money, he went to his home. Seeing the police on the threshold of the apartment, the man immediately gave out what he found. He explained that he found the money at night and was going to hand it over to the police in the morning, but did not have time to do so. The police noted that according to Article 245 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Nakhodka", having found a thing forgotten by someone, a citizen is obliged to do everything possible to return it to the owner, otherwise the owner of the thing may accuse him of theft.
