In the eastern Indian state of Odisha, at least 10 people were killed and 3 seriously injured after lightning strikes during heavy rains in the last 24 hours.
Four people were killed in Khurda, two in Bolangir, one in Angul, Budha, Jagasinghpur and Dhankanal.
In addition, three people were injured by lightning in the city of Khurda.
The Indian Meteorological Department predicts that bad weather will continue for four more days in some parts of the state.
For information, since June of this year, about 350 people have died as a result of landslides and floods caused by heavy rains in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India.
