The State Border Service prevented the smuggling of drugs from Iran to Azerbaijan with a total weight of 21 kilograms 745 grams.
Report was told in the press center of the State Border Service.
On July 2, at 03:05, on the territory of the Frontier Outpost Service of the Goytepe frontier detachment, located near the village of Garavuldash, Yardimli region, the import of 5 kilograms 870 grams of narcotic drugs into Azerbaijan was prevented.
On July 3, at 13:30, as a result of operational-search activities carried out by employees of the Goytepe border detachment near the Yusifli village of the Jalilabad region, 10 kilograms 480 grams of narcotic drugs were found and confiscated.
On July 4, at 00:45, on the territory of the Frontier Outpost Service of the Horadiz frontier detachment, located near the village of Gazakhlar in the Fizuli region, the transfer of 5 kilograms 395 grams of narcotic drugs from Iran to Azerbaijan was prevented.
Based on these facts, operational and investigative measures are ongoing.
