Implementation of Turkmen-Afghan energy projects discussed in Kabul

Joint energy projects implemented by Turkmenistan and Afghanistan were considered in Kabul. The meeting was attended by the General Director of the Afghan energy company DABS Alhaj Mula Muhammad Hanif Hamza, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Afghanistan Khoja Ovezov and representatives of the Turkish company Çalık Holding, Ariana News reports.
It was about the import of electricity from the border regions of Turkmenistan to the Nur-ul-Jihad substation in Herat. The parties discussed the technical parameters of the power transmission, as well as the project for the electrification of the Afghan region of Khumab-Karkin and the 500 kV power transmission line Surkhan-Pole-Khumri.
The importance of expanding further cooperation in the field of energy and the implementation of energy projects was noted, which will help strengthen relations between the two countries.
