Religious figures can influence the parishioners and through personal conversations motivate them to join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Tajikistan
Religious figures can motivate young people for military conscription service in the Armed Forces of Tajikistan.
This was stated by the Deputy Mayor of Penjikent Sanat Tokhirzoda.
It is noted that this issue was discussed at a meeting of city authorities with the participation of imams of five-day mosques.
There, Sanat Tokhirzoda for the first time acquainted the audience with the proposal of the Prosecutor of Penjikent on compliance with the requirements of the Law "On Compulsory Military Service and Military Service."
He stressed that religious figures can also contribute to the implementation of the document by communicating with believers.
"In order to prevent the inclination of young people to radical beliefs, efforts must be made to introduce the religious teachings of Imam Azam, which includes love and service to the Motherland as part of the faith," the officials are convinced.
In addition, the meeting also paid attention to cases of non-compliance with the provisions of the Law "On the regulation of traditions, holidays and rituals in Tajikistan."
Civil servants agreed on the need to end the manifestation of neutrality in this matter.
Earlier, Istaravshan introduced a new method of attracting conscripts to the service. They plan to train all recruits who voluntarily came to the military registration and enlistment office to drive a car.

Recall that the autumn conscription of young people for service in the Armed Forces of Tajikistan takes place from October 1 to November 30.
At the same time, according to the law, young people can be exempted from two years of service after paying a certain amount of money (about 28.5 thousand somoni in 2023) and participating in monthly fees.
