The total value of these 24 types of illegal phones was 6 billion soums. The staff of the anti-smuggling department of the Fergana region customs department held a quick event in cooperation with the regional DXX and IIB staff.
During the event, a civilian-owned Cobalt vehicle driving on the Fergana-Tashkent route was stopped and inspected at the entrance to Namangan region.
As a result, it was found that in the passenger compartment and trunk of the vehicle, there are about 550 mobile communication devices of 24 types, with an initial value of 5 billion 788.9 million soums, which are illegally imported, produced abroad and do not have documents confirming that they have passed customs clearance.
About 250 of these mobile devices were iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, and about 100 were Samsung galaxy S23 Ultra and Samsung galaxy S23 FE.
Currently, the investigation is being carried out in connection with this situation.
