Ilham Aliyev: Relations between Azerbaijan and the United States have risen to the level of strategic partnership

Relations between Azerbaijan and the United States, dynamically developing on the basis of friendship and cooperation, have risen to the level of strategic partnership in a number of areas.

Report informs, this is stated in a letter from Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to US President Joseph Biden.

"The fight against global challenges, international terrorism, our active and effective joint work on security issues, and a wide range of interaction in the economic sphere are the main factors that characterize our bilateral relations.

We are satisfied with our fruitful cooperation in the energy sector. The United States has strongly and consistently supported Azerbaijan's energy strategy at all stages. We especially appreciate the close cooperation of our countries in ensuring energy security, the comprehensive support of the United States in the large-scale transnational projects we are implementing," the letter says.
