Huseyn Gasanov is on the international wanted list

Popular Russian video blogger Huseyn Gasanov was put on the federal wanted list and arrested in absentia on charges of tax evasion of more than 170 million rubles. He is suspected of illegally legalizing 20 million rubles by transferring his income through relatives and personal accounts. According to the Russian Criminal Code, he faces up to seven years in prison or a fine of 1 million rubles. Gasanov said that he had paid all taxes and a fine of 320 million rubles, and that his lawyers were working on the case.
“The media is writing about my tax evasion. But I have paid all taxes and fines in the amount of 320 million rubles... Whoever digs a well for someone, he will fall for it,” Gasanov said.
