Humanoid robot converts to Buddhism in South Korea
During a special ceremony in Seoul, the robot swore an oath, saying, "I am ready to serve the sacred teachings," and was given the name "Gabi." After that, the special rules of Buddhism were explained to it. The robot now works as an "honorary monk" at the temple. It is also expected to participate in the Lotus Lantern Festival dedicated to the birth of Buddha in the coming days.
