A humanoid robot named Shandyan ran 21.1 km faster than the human record in the Beijing half marathon. The robot, created by Honor, took first place with a time of 50 minutes and 26 seconds. Two other robots of the same model took second place with a time of 50:56 and 53:01. For comparison, the world record for the men's half marathon belongs to Jacob Kiplimo, who set a time of 57 minutes and 20 seconds. Technology has once again broken boundaries - now robots are ahead in the marathon.
