In the first quarter of last year, 518 million dollars were transferred to the republic.
From January to March this year, 467 million 950 thousand dollars were transferred to Kyrgyzstan, the National Bank reports.
This is data on the funds of individuals received through money transfer systems. Most ($420.6 million) was transferred from Russia, with Kazakhstan in second place ($13.1 million) and the United States in third ($10.6 million).
When comparing the data for the first quarter of each year since 2005 (statistics have been available since then), one can understand that the current figure is not high. In particular, it is 50 million less than last year.
Data for the first three months of different years (the years when the receipt of funds exceeded $450 million are indicated):
2023 - $468 million;
2022 - 518 million;
2021 - 543 million;
2020 - 457.7 million.
