How many patients were treated by telemedicine in the emergency medical system in Uzbekistan

The Ministry of Health Information Service opened up how many patients were treated by telemedicine in the emergency medical system. 

According to him, over the past 5 months of the year, 800 consultations, 16 conciliaries, 27 demonstration operations were carried out on telemedicine 200 times (80 more than in the same period of 2022). As a result, about 900 patients were able to be treated at the place of residence.

Also, the activities of the Centers are regularly organized to improve the modern management system with the involvement of experts from advanced foreign countries, accelerate the introduction of new innovative methods of treatment and diagnostics in the field, and establish scientific and practical cooperation. In the direction of liver transplantation, practical work was sent with the Centers of India and Turkey, in the direction of Neurosurgery with the center of Japan, in the direction of surgery with the center of Azerbaijan.

By the end of the year, interventional practices are established in the regional branches of the center. As a result, 9 types of new surgical and diagnostic methods are put into practice.
