How many days do Uzbeks have off during the New Year?

Uzbeks have 5 consecutive days off for the New Year.
According to the presidential decree, December 31, 2025 to January 4, 2026 were declared days off.
Also, the days off in 2026 are:
- for all employees (regardless of the type of work week): January 2 - Friday, May 28 - Thursday, May 29 - Friday, August 31 - Monday;
- for employees working a six-day work week: January 3 - Saturday, May 30 - Saturday, December 31 - Thursday.
In accordance with Article 208 of the Labor Code, March 8 - Women's Day, which is considered a non-working holiday, falls on a Sunday in 2026, and March 21 - Navruz holiday and May 9 - Memorial and Honor Day fall on a Saturday for employees working a five-day workweek. These holidays have been moved to March 9, March 23, and May 11 - Monday, 2026, respectively.
