The second episode of the third season of House of the Dragon has caused a major stir among viewers. Titled “King’s Landing,” the episode received a 9.5/10 rating on IMDb, making it the highest-rated episode in the history of the series.

The new episode intensified the story with political intrigue, the capture of the capital, and unexpected execution scenes. These dramatic twists were highly praised by viewers and sparked widespread discussion on social media.

The episode begins with Rhaenyra Targaryen struggling emotionally after the death of her son, Jacaerys. Later, Daemon’s return from Harrenhal has a major impact on the course of events. Inspired by his words, Rhaenyra marches on King’s Landing, takes the Iron Throne, and takes decisive action against key allies of the Greens.
