Hotline for accommodation in hostels opened for students in Kazakhstan

ASTANA, August 28 - Sputnik. A hotline for accommodation in hostels has been opened for students in Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education said.

The situational center is open around the clock, telephone lines +7 (700) 950-95-28, +7 (700) 255-14-43.

From September, more than 7,000 students from among orphans and persons with disabilities will begin to receive material assistance to pay for living in dormitories in the amount of 29 MCI per year, the department added.

This year, the construction of four dormitories in Kazakhstan is in jeopardy, Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayasat Nurbek said in July. Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov instructed to carry out work on the maximum allocation of places in dormitories to students by September 1, as well as to ensure the delivery of all 37 objects planned for the current year on time.
