Hot water and heating tariffs in Tashkent to rise by 15%

According to a decision by the Tashkent City Administration, Veolia Energy Tashkent will increase tariffs for hot water and heating services by 15%.

New rates:

• For households — 139,860 UZS per Gcal

• For budget organizations — 952,797 UZS per Gcal

• For other organizations — 342,296 UZS per Gcal

The decision will come into effect on the day of its official publication.

Officials stated that currently, household payments cover only 18% of total costs, with the rest subsidized by the city budget.
The government plans to gradually phase out these subsidies by 2030.
