Hot air balloon crashes in Tajikistan, three people injured

In the city of Khujand, Tajikistan, a hot air balloon brought from Uzbekistan lost control due to strong winds during a Children’s Day event and crashed onto nearby buildings. As a result of the incident, three people were injured, including a 46-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan.

According to reports, on June 1, the hot air balloon installed near the Kamoli Khujandi Theater lost control under the influence of strong winds and collided with the roofs of nearby residential buildings. The injured were taken to the hospital and received the necessary medical assistance. Emergency services arrived at the scene and ensured the safety of the area.

Several houses suffered roof damage as a result of the incident. An investigation into the situation is currently underway.
