Higher-qualified teachers will be able to study for a master's degree remotely

In accordance with Government Resolution No. 322 of June 24, 2026, a targeted master's degree system will be introduced in the pedagogical direction for teachers with a higher qualification category working in general secondary educational institutions. The Ministry of Justice reported this.

According to the new regulation, higher-qualified teachers can study for a master's degree in the form of distance learning while continuing their work. Admission to a targeted master's degree is carried out on the basis of the current master's degree admission procedure.
Teachers who have completed their studies under this program are obliged to work in general secondary educational institutions for at least 3 years.

Also, the procedure for reimbursement of payment-contract funds from the state budget for higher-qualified teachers admitted to a master's degree under this program will not be applied. According to the resolution, from the 2026/2027 academic year, a targeted master's degree program will be established at the Nizami National Pedagogical University of Uzbekistan.
