High-speed Malibu crashes in Tashkent
On July 2, in Tashkent’s Yakkasaroy district, the driver of a Malibu traveling at high speed lost control of the vehicle, crashing first into a tree and then into the Caffelito Coffee shop. Videos circulating on social media show that at least three people were injured in the accident and the car sustained serious damage. As the incident occurred early in the morning, there were virtually no pedestrians on the sidewalk. According to the capital's traffic police, an investigation into the incident is underway. No official details regarding the exact number of injured persons have been released.
