The presidential decision "On measures to implement the Uzbekistan 2030 strategy in 2023 in a high-quality and timely manner" was adopted.

According to it, starting from January 1, 2024, treatment of hepatitis C patients and children with oncological diseases in need of hematopoietic bone marrow stem cell transplantation will be carried out at the expense of the state budget.

Also, the practice of hematopoietic bone marrow stem cell transplantation will be introduced at the Children's Hematology, Oncology and Clinical Immunology Center and the Children's National Medical Center for children with oncohematological diseases.

For information, in early April, it was announced that 1 million people in Uzbekistan will be screened against types B and C of viral hepatitis. Mirsr has been supplying anti-hepatitis C drugs to Uzbekistan since the end of April. To date, drugs against this disease have been delivered in 14 batches.
