Helicopter crash in Ghana: two ministers killed

A pro-government helicopter crashed in the adansia Akrofuom area of Ghana. The incident resulted in the death of Defence Minister Dr Edward Oman Boama and Environment Minister Dr Ibrahim Murtalo Muhammad.
A total of 8 people were killed in the crash. Among the victims are Alhaj Muniru Muhammad, acting head of national security, Samuel Sarpong, deputy chairman of the National Democratic Congress, and Samuel Aboagye, deputy director general of NADMO.
Reportedly, they were on their way to the presentation of a responsible mining program. The helicopter disappeared from radar shortly after being lifted into the air. FVV services recovered the burned remains from the crash site.
