Heavy Rain Causes Flooding in the Capital and Regions

On the night of February 13–14, following heavy rainfall, water accumulated on several streets in Tashkent, resulting in flooding.

In addition, nearly 30 residential houses were flooded in the Forish district of Jizzakh region. Mudflows were also reported in the Qamashi district of Kashkadarya region after the rain. No fatalities or injuries have been reported as a result of the incidents.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations stated that improvement service workers and special equipment were deployed to eliminate the consequences.
