Heatwave to ease starting July 21
According to “Uzhydromet,” the extreme heat in Uzbekistan will gradually subside beginning July 21.
Forecasts indicate that over the weekend, temperatures will rise further, reaching 42–45°C during the day, and up to 46–48°C in southern and desert regions.
On July 20, extreme heat will persist across most of the country, with only the northwestern regions expected to see a slight drop.
From July 21, temperatures nationwide are expected to decrease by 6–9°C. In some areas, stronger winds and dust storms may also occur.
