Heat Intensifies: Temperatures May Reach +48 °C in Some Regions
From July 18 to 20, extremely hot air masses from the south will continue to enter Uzbekistan. As a result, in certain areas temperatures are expected to rise to 46–48 °C. According to “Uzgidromet” (source), daytime temperatures across most regions will be 43–45 °C, while in southern and desert areas they may reach 46–48 °C. Wind speeds are forecasted at 13–18 m/s, and in some places up to 20–22 m/s, potentially causing dust storms. Experts advise citizens to avoid staying outdoors for long periods during peak heat, drink plenty of fluids, and pay special attention to the health of children and the elderly.
