Head of the Presidential Administration Saida Mirziyoyeva held high-level meetings in Washington, D.C.

She met with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio in a business breakfast format. The meeting discussed the outcomes of the U.S.–Uzbekistan Business and Investment Council session, as well as bilateral economic cooperation issues.

The parties noted the growing portfolio of investment projects. Saida Mirziyoyeva also highly appreciated the United States’ contribution to strengthening cooperation with Uzbekistan.

In addition, she held a meeting with Ben Black, head of the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC). The talks focused on large-scale investment projects, as well as attracting American investors and reducing investment risks through the DFC.

It has been reported that a joint investment platform is planned to be launched in 2026.
