Head of the Halk Maslakhaty: Hungary is a reliable partner of Turkmenistan in the European region

“Turkmenistan treats Hungary as an important and reliable partner in the European region,” said the national leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in a response message to the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban, thanking him for the invitation to visit Hungary to participate in the festive events.
The head of the Halk Maslakhaty stressed that at the current stage, interstate relations are actively developing and enriched with new content.
“Your visit to Turkmenistan in June of this year also became an important stage that gave impetus to the further development of bilateral relations. During the high-level talks held in Ashgabat in an atmosphere of openness and trust, as well as meetings with you, an exchange of views took place on the most important areas of cooperation. The results of the visit and the signed documents served as a solid basis for the further development of our relations,” the message that President Serdar Berdimuhamedov conveyed to Viktor Orban today during a meeting in Budapest says.
The national leader of the Turkmen people wished successful holding of the World Athletics Championships and congratulated Prime Minister Viktor Orban and all the people of Hungary on the main public holiday - St. Stephen's Day.
