Has Been Announced When Classes Will Begin for Students in Uzbekistan
The start dates for the 2026/2027 academic year at higher education institutions, academic lyceums, and technical colleges in Uzbekistan have been announced.
The academic year at academic lyceums and technical colleges will begin on September 2.
At higher education institutions:
First-year students — September 7;
Second-year and senior students — September 14.
This year, 209,000 applicants have been recommended for admission to higher education institutions. Of them, 52,800 students have been admitted on state-funded grants, while 156,300 will study on a tuition-fee basis.
