Hande Ercel testifies in court upon return to Turkey
Famous Turkish actress Hande Ercel, after returning from abroad, went to the Istanbul court to testify in a criminal case related to drug trafficking. Hair and blood samples were taken from the actress at the Forensic Medicine Institute.
On March 25, the Istanbul Chief Prosecutor's Office ordered the arrest of Hande Ercel, but Ercel was not in Turkey. She herself immediately stated that she was ready to clarify the situation and give all necessary instructions to law enforcement agencies.
Major anti-drug operations are ongoing throughout Turkey.
