Hakan Fidan: It is important to sign a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia

The international community should support the process of normalizing relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

According to Report, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said this at a joint press conference with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov in Ankara.

According to him, Turkey supports the normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan, and the international community should support this process.

Hakan Fidan noted that negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan are being held at various venues: "We are closely following these contacts. The signing of a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan is very important. Efforts are also being made to restore diplomatic relations between Turkey and Armenia."
