Gulomjon Yakubov was awarded the Order of "For Great Services"

A grand concert program was held in the "Friendship of Peoples" Palace of Arts in our capital on the occasion of the birthday of singer, People's Artist of Uzbekistan and Karakalpakstan Gulomjon Yakubov. Gulomjon Yakubov, who is celebrating his 75th birthday, was awarded the Order of "For Great Services".

During the musical evening, the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev "On Awarding People's Artist of Uzbekistan Gulomjon Yakubov" was read out by Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Khayriddin Sultanov.

According to it, Gulomjon Yakubov was awarded the Order of "For Great Services" for his services in the development of our national singing art and active participation in social life.

Tanzila Norbayeva, Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, presented the award to the artist.

For your information, Gulomjon Yakubov has been serving the arts for 60 years.
