GTSBT trading: base oils and diesel fuel were in high demand

Base oils SN-180 ($763 per ton) and SN-350 ($799 per ton), L-0.5-62 diesel fuel ($585 per ton), plain and dyed terry products ($4.60 per kg), cotton yarn (from $1.97 to $2.02 per kg) and flannel fabric ($0.55 per sq.m) were in demand during trading at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan on Monday, July 10.
During the auction, entrepreneurs from Afghanistan purchased a total of 4.5 thousand tons of base oils for $3.4 million and 5 thousand tons of diesel fuel for $2.9 million from the Turkmenneft State Concern.
Businessmen from the UAE and Kyrgyzstan signed deals with Turkmen economic companies for the purchase of 46.4 thousand kg of various types of terry products for $213.4 thousand.
A company from Turkey signed contracts with Turkmen enterprises for the purchase of 220 thousand kg of various types of cotton yarn for $436.7 thousand.
A representative of the UAE business circles purchased 500,000 sq.m of flannel from a Turkmen economic society for $275,000.
A total of 10 deals were made during the auction for a total of $7.3 million.
