Growth in prices and tariffs noted in all EAEU countries

In April 2023, compared to the previous month, an increase in consumer prices and tariffs was noted in all EAEU member countries. The increase in prices in the Kyrgyz Republic (0.2 percent) is due to their increase in alcoholic beverages and tobacco products (by 1.3 percent). It is reported by the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic.

In April 2023, compared to December 2022, the highest inflation rate (4.2 percent) in the consumer sector of the economy was recorded in the Republic of Kazakhstan, where prices for food products increased the most (by 5.0 percent) and non-food products (by 3.8 percent). At the same time, the maximum increase in prices for services (by 4.4 percent) was recorded in the Republic of Belarus.
