Grigory Leps spoke about his creative path, life principles and the factors that help him stay on stage.

During his career, the singer performed several hundred of his own compositions, 97 songs by Vladimir Vysotsky and many other works. But only one song brought him to the peak of absolute success - this is the legendary “Ryumka vodka na stole”.

In an interview with “Minskoy Pravdoy”, the artist explained it this way: “There was such a feeling - in our country everyone likes to have fun”. Other hits “Самый лучший день”, “Я счастливый”, “Водопадом” were perceived as simply beautiful works. None of them became hits.

Leps described his approach to choosing a repertoire simply - he takes what touches his heart.

The singer also mentioned the qualities that allow him to live: impatience, sensuality and a desire for freedom. He expressed his philosophy of life as follows: “They always helped me. I will always help. Because the way you treat people, they will treat you. This is the law.”

After grueling performances, Grigory trains in the gym and swims in the pool every day. He has nine years of serious sports behind him: four years of gymnastics, four years of professional football, and a year of judo and boxing.

Leps says that fame is both a gift and a burden for him at the same time - it all depends on how he uses it. The artist was in a pre-coma twice in his life and in intensive care twice. What saved him? Grigory answered this philosophically: "God thought I was still needed here. If he decides differently tomorrow, I won't be here."
