Grants of up to 60 million soums to be awarded to returning migrant workers

The Migration Agency is allocating grants of up to 60 million soums to labor migrants returning to Uzbekistan from abroad to help them establish or expand their businesses.
The program is being implemented in partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and with financial support from the Swedish Ministry of Justice. Grants will be awarded on a competitive basis.
Citizens who worked abroad and returned to Uzbekistan during 2025–2026 are eligible to participate. Special emphasis is placed on the participation of women. Priority will be given to projects based on the following criteria:

🔹 a clear and well-founded business development idea;
🔹 potential for creating new jobs;
🔹 the sustainability and viability of the enterprise.
