Grandson jumps into crematorium furnace after his grandmother in India
A 30-year-old man in India jumped into an operating crematorium furnace while saying goodbye to his late grandmother.
The incident occurred at a crematorium in the state of West Bengal. As his grandmother's body was being placed into the cremation furnace during the funeral ceremony, the man suddenly jumped in after her.
Crematorium staff and witnesses managed to pull him out within seconds. He suffered severe burn injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
A video of the incident has been widely shared on social media.
