Governor of Qumqo‘rg‘on district: “No one is preparing firewood”

Anvar Normamatov, the governor of Qumqo‘rg‘on district in Surxondaryo, said at a local council session that people have stopped preparing firewood (tezak).
“Experts say that this winter will be cold. We need to get ready. If it snows, the tezak can be prepared in advance. Now everyone is waiting for gas, but there is none,” the governor said.

He added that 90% of the population understands this issue, while the remaining 10% still need to be informed.

Note: Tezak is a traditional fuel made from livestock manure and is widely used in rural areas during the cold season.
