A resident of Fergana district, born in 1996, was detained at the “Vodil-avto” border customs post while trying to illegally export 1 kg 232 grams of gold to Kyrgyzstan. It turned out that 4 gold bars of non-standard shape were hidden inside the body of a car driven by the criminal. Also, the total value of these gold bars amounted to 2 billion 182 million 466 soums and were registered as material evidence by customs. Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against this person under Article 182, Part 2, Subparagraph “a” of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are being conducted.
