Global climate change: what awaits Kazakhstan

Meteorologists and scientists will discuss the consequences of global climate shifts for the republic

ASTANA, August 17 - Sputnik. A discussion meeting on the topic "Is it possible to predict extreme weather conditions?" will be held at the Sputnik Kazakhstan multimedia press center on August 18, 2023 at 12.00.
Kazakhstan has been facing the consequences of climate change for several years. But this year this influence was especially noticeable. These are record high temperatures, and the associated large-scale forest fires, dried up rivers, mudslides and heavy rains that flooded major cities.
At the meeting, experts will talk about how the situation with the climate in the country will develop.
