Girls raped in psychiatric hospital

A 17-year-old girl was raped in a psychiatric hospital in Shymkent. The incident occurred in November 2024. She was tied up in two unsanitary cells, drugged and raped several times. The girl's mother said that investigators tried to cover up the case and that this was not the first time rapes had occurred in the facility. A trial was held on March 12 and the suspects were found guilty. The final verdict has not yet been made public because the trial was closed.
