Germany launches freezing service for “future resurrection”

A German startup called Tomorrow Bio has launched a freezing service for people who have died in order to be resurrected in the future. Bodies are cooled to -198°C, putting them in a state of “biostasis” and halting biological processes. Customers can choose to freeze the whole body or just the brain. The whole body costs 200,000 euros, while the brain costs 75,000 euros.
So far, the company has frozen six people and five pets, with another 650 people on the waiting list. The frozen bodies will be transported to the main facility in Switzerland by special ambulances.
